Such is life.

Such tall tales we all live.   
We exist in a world with buildings as high as the sky. Machines that can fly us anywhere, drive us anywhere, make us anything, make us into anything...   
It seems unreal.   
We can change our appearance with a tube of lipstick or a scalpel, depending on how much money you're willing to dish out. We can give a 300 pound woman a 30 inch waist, yet we can't find a cure for cancer or AIDS or Parkinson's. We can make Whoppers and Super Size Fries and Criss-cut Fries, but we can't end world hunger. The solution is always out of reach when you aren't allowed to cut corners.

The KnifeThere's a knife in my gut. Did you put it there? Or did I?   
It doesn't really hurt. I mean, it does. But...not. It's just...there. Not much I can do about it, really.   
I don't think I should pull it out. Doesn't that make it worse? It's in there pretty deep, though, so I'm not sure...maybe you can try?   
Does it always feel like this?   
You know, the more this thing twists, the more it starts to hurt. I'd really appreciate it if you could, you know, fucking stop.   
At the same time, I really am just hoping for the best out of this situation.

Sleepiness, dresses, and losing at life

I suck at updating this. Oh well.

Shawn and I are still together (thank GOD), but he's moving, um, tomorrow. It's not long-term...we hope.

I'm tired right now. I came over to Shawn's at 7 AM, which is when we're both asleep, and he has a hard time sleeping with someone in his bed with him because it's only a double or something like that, so it's small and he's like me where he sleeps all over the place. I'd advise him to invest himself in a queen or king, but he can't afford it AND he's got a Tempurpedic mattress, which is lovely to sleep on.

My sister is engaged. YAY! I'm going to be her maid of honour, meaning I've gotta get all girlied up. That'll be weird, to say the least. I try not to wear more than one dress a year.

Life has been a bit rocky lately. And the past few months have sucked more than they've been good. But hopefully it'll get better soon. I'm doing all I can so it will be.
